Registration

• How do I register for a conference? 

You may register on-line at www.tieconeast.org or by phone 781 272 3875 or fax 781 272 3880. Go to Registration

• Will I receive a confirmation?

 
Yes, by email provided to us on the registration form.

• Will I receive a receipt for my credit card charge?

 
The confirmation sent by TiECON EAST Conference serves as confirmation and a receipt as it specifies the date, method and amount of payment made.

• How do I know if my registration submitted on-line was received? 

You will receive an auto response shortly after you submit the form with the details of your registration. Once your payment has been processed you will receive your confirmation of registration which is your invoice/receipt.

• What is included in my registration fee?

Full Conference pass includes all three days. Friday Only Pass includes all day Friday and the banquet. Saturday Only Pass includes all day Saturday.

• Can I attend only one day of a three day conference? 

Yes, however the cost is the same as the total price unless the program specifies individual days.

• Are there discounts on multiple registrations?

• I need to cancel my registration - what do I do and what is my liability?

            50% refund if registration cancelled in the first 15 days of your registration. No refund after 15 days of your registration. No refunds to any registrants after June 12th,2007.

• I did not get a confirmation of my registration. What do I do?

If you have not received your confirmation please make sure that the confirmation has landed in your junk mail. If not please e mail suchitra@tie-boston.org and we will resend you a copy

• Do I have to register in advance or can I register on-site? 
  We strongly discourage "walking in" as you will not be guaranteed materials or seating. It is best to register in advance.

HOTEL AND TRAVEL

• Do I have to make my own hotel reservation? 
  Yes, the hotel information is provided on the website.

• What if my preferred hotel is sold out? 
   You have two options if your preferred hotel is sold out. You can consult the online hotel program, where rates tend to be lower, and look for alternate properties near where you want/need to stay.

• I have cancelled my registration but have a hotel confirmation? What do I do?

We strongly recommend you to cancel your hotel booking as well, this will help other attendees to book a room at the preferred hotel

•  What time do I need to check in and out of the hotel?

Check-in time is after 12:00pm June 14th and Check out time is before 12:00pm June 16, 2007

• Can I book more than one room at the conference rate?

Yes you may book more than one room at the conference rate.

• Can I send a package to the convention center and have it delivered to me when I arrive?

Yes, however TiE-Boston or the organizers are not responsible for the package. We will not guarantee you the shipping and delivery of the package (exceptions made to sponsors only).

CONFERENCE SESSIONS

• How do I substitute another attendee in my place?

Please request your friend or colleague to bring your registration badge with them. Upon presenting us with your badge we will swap the badges.

• When can I enroll in sessions I want to attend?

There are no session passes available. Once you are registered you are eligible for all the session during the day.

• How do I gain admittance to any or all of the keynote addresses?

Your registration guarantees admittance to all Keynote as well as panel sessions

• Can the information/conference materials provided at the conference be purchased? 
  
  
No, only paid attendees will receive the conference materials.

• Are there options for my strict dietary requirements? 
  The conference includes buffet style meals, with a variety of foods. Due to high volume of attendees unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate any individual request.

• What is the conference dress attire? 
  Most conferences are business attire or business casual except when specified.

• What other cool stuff is happening at TiECON East?
